D is what is called an "outsider" artist. He paints constantly, but he always draws sketches first. In my class, he is painting without sketches which is a challenge for him.

L does the most interesting paintings. She has dimentia and she can say the darnedest things - today I complimented her on this piece - she thought it was "disgusting" - and I said it was beautiful - she said "Maybe if you are drunk!"

M is my volunteer 11 year old. She 3 pieces today and inspired the elders with her presence.
